I haven't gone black, dont worry (: And I don't intend to. But here's the deal. I attract them. Like a magnet. No, really. Ask my college friends. I have tons of african friends. Not just guys too (: Girls as well. But yeah, most of my african friends are guys. But then again, for most of my life most of my friends were guys ANYWAY. I secretly think I was born a black in another life. Like maybe an african or an african american. They're really nice to talk to and hangout with. I just hate that so many Malaysians, even my friends in college, are so prejudiced about them. Think about it like this, if you were to say that black people lie, cheat and steal and all that, don't malaysians do that as well? Malay people do it. Chinese people do it. Indian people do it. So why be so racist and stereotype? I hate that.
But anyway. I am an open person. Open to personalities and cultures. I like learning about new things. I don't give a damned if people want to say I'm the kind of girl who doesnt know her own kind and who has gone black. I know the truth. People who have never made friends with africans or are prejudiced against them, they're missing out. You're missing out on a whole learning experience. Oh, and I also think that you people (yes that does include some friends) who are prejudiced against africans are REALLY just a bunch of bitches. You stereotype them and you dont care to acknowledge their existance, but then you're "BIG FANS" of singers like Akon and whatnot. I mean. HELO. Some of the greatest people in the world are blacks. Look at Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Oprah for christsake!
So why do you think you're better than them? Don't. You're missing out on an opportunity to learn. Isn't that what life is about? Learning. Life is a lesson. That's is.
So my point is, don't judge them by the colour of their skin. Because underneath it, they're just like you. They're still people.
