20 Things I Love

1. i love my friends
   - my best friends mean a whole lot to me. i'm the kind of person that's always there for my friends when they need me. even if you dont ask me to be there, i'll put my arm around you and wait til you're ready to talk. and i listen. i care about those friends who are good to me. i'm not blowing my own trumpet, but i AM a good friend. until you bitch about me or backstab me, and then i become a total bitch to you, and if i really wanted to, i'd make u wish u never met me. so, you be nice. you be sincere. and you be real. and i'll play nice.
   
   
   
2. i love my family
   - as much as i complain about them, yes i still love my family. i know that if ever something bad happens to me, i can count on them to keep me in their prayers and to stand by me. and yes i know i complaing about my sister a LOT but heLO. its a sister thing. fighting a lot:) we're getting older and we're all learning to get along. :)
   
   
   
3. i love music
   - music has always been the love of my life. ever since i was a kid. i'd be in the caar and listen to music and sing along to almost every song. i'd bop my head to the music and la la la. i can't live without music. some of my all time favourites are Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi, Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses, More Than Words by Extreme and Kiss me thru the Phone by Soulja boy. haha Random.
   
   
   
   
4. i love writing
   - DUH. hello. otherwise this blog would not exist. i LOVE writing. writing has been my escape since forever. if you know me well enough, you'll know that in my 18 years, i've experienced quite a bit of shit. my wierd family, guys, friends, and my own personal conflicts. and if you REALLY know me well enough, you'll know that one thing that is my therapy to get over the drama that happens, is my writing. and especially lately, its been blogging. according to my friends and some fellow bloggers, im good at putting down my feelings in writing. so remember this. MUSIC and WRITING. the two greatest loves of my life.
   
   
   
   
5. i love myself (physically)
   - so here's the deal. LATELY. people have been telling me "oh you're so pretty." and "you're such a beautiful girl". and ok, fine i accept these compliments and all. but then people always have this negative thing to say. thus, there's always a "but...". In my case? its always "you're a beautiful girl, but i bet you would look even BETTER if you were thinner" OR "you're a......,but you'd be so much prettier/hotter if u lost some weight". And the thing is, i AM losing weight. i am working out and eating healthy but here's a newsflash: I AM NOT DOING IT TO PLEASE YOUR FUCKING MINDS I AM DOING IT FOR MY OWN HEALTH'S SAKE. SO JUST SHUTHEFUCKUP.
   So here's my message to all you fucktards out there who have such opinions::
   

   Keep YOUR stupid opinions about MY body to your own bloody self. I dont give a fuck about what you think my body should look like. i am comfortable in my own body with my big fat butt. Losing weight to me, is for my own health and that's why i am doing it. so you can just take your fucking opinions about MY body and shove it up your skinny asshole!

   
   
   I like my body. You say fat, I say curvy and voluptuos. So, bugger off.
   
   
6. I love the rain
   - do i really need to explain this? the rain is a beautiful thing. its romantic. and peaceful. just listen to the sound of the rain gently tapping on ur window, or crashing desperately to the ground. its the perfect time to sleep.. or um "sleeeep" ;) the one desire i have that's still unfulfilled, is to kiss the man i love in the rain. still waiting.. [hey boyfriend, buck up ;)]
   
   
   
   
7. I love reading and daydreaming.
   - ok, so before u yell out "Joanna is a NEEERRRDD!"because i say i like to read, why dont u consider this. When you pick up a book, its like the key to a whole new world, a world where you can just pretend u are anyone within the pages of that book. whether its the typical housewife who deals with the cheating husband, or an adultress who is having an affair with her neighbour, or the woman full of gumption who stands up for what she believes in.. blah blah blah. u get my drift. you can be any of the characters within that particular book. same goes for daydreaming except u can be anyone u want. it all lies within the imagination. so dont call me a nerd just cos i wear glasses and i read a lot. =)
   
   
   
   
8. I love wearing my glasses.
   - so yes. glasses do make some people look nerdy. but i dont think mine make me look nerdy. i like wearing my glasses. i think at times it actually makes me look mysterious and strict. LOL. and other times i can make them make me look flirty ;) so hey, i can totally WORK IT with these glasses ;) so dont judge who i am and what im like by my glasses. just cos i wear em all the time dont mean im a nerd. i can still be sexy with my glasses if i want to. and p.s to all you other girls out there who wear glasses? dont be shy or embarrassed about them. have to confidence to wear 'em and you so will NOT look like a nerd. to all you girls out there who are like me and wear 'em all the time and TOTALLY work it? 9. I love my lips
   - once upon a time, i discovered something about myself. i have VERY sexy and kissable lips. =D and no,im not being perasan or vain or whatever. but seriously. go through some of my pics and see my luscious lips:D so much so that one of my friends even nicknamed me "Lipscious", yes Dilip, you. thanks. LOL. so anyway. i love my lips.

11. I love Ann.
    - she's one of my bestest amigas. and she is an awesome chica. she undertands me, like no one else does, pretty much. we've been through a lot of the same things in our lives. family stuff.. loser boyfriends. things like that. she understands me. and i understand her. i *heart* ann =D she's a good friend to me too. she pretty much understands when something is wrong and unlike a lot of people, she doesnt force me to tell her whats wrong. if i dont want to talk about it, then she knows that i DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. and when i do want to talk about it, she lets me. i love u annie pants!
    
    
    
    
12. I love to party
    - now MY definition of partying, is not like most. my definition of partying does not necessarily involve clubbing. my definition of partying is an ACTUAL party. why? let's see. good food, great music, maybe some booze and (duh!) awesome friends to dance with! [though, clubbing, comes pretty close ;) ]
    
    
13. I love Manchester United
    - Glory Glory Man United! hell to the yeah babey! long live the red devils! i have supported MU since i was like .. 10. and unlike SOME lalang-ed people who keep changing according to who's winning, i've always been on MU's side. my fav players? Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand. Cos as long as i can remember, they've been the most loyal to MU
    
    
    
    
14. I love punjabis
    - Why? DUH! Bhangra! LOL. but really. i want to be a punjabi:D or even a punjabi mix. I love the culture. and the clothes. and the MUSIC. and the food! paal kova! lol. and i ESPECIALLY LOVE the whole party-for-three-days-straight-cos-theres-a-wedding thing :D heLO. PARTY!
    
    
15. I love piercings and tattooes
    - do i need to state the obvious. hello. my blog is called rebellion. what better way to rebel than to poke holes in your body and scar it for life. LOL. nah im just kidding. but really. this whole rebel thing i have happening. my oh-so-darling boyfriend has this really sexayyy lip piercing ;) and i want to pierce my tongue:D and tattoes? duh. as soon as im 18 babey! guys with piercings (not just the ears), attract me.

18. I love it when guys treat girls like princesses
    - when i say this, i dont mean a guy who succumbs to her every whim. i mean a guy who can respect a girl and LOVE her, even with her clothes ON, even when she's wearing pajamas, even when she's wearing fisherman's get-up. a guy who looks beyond what she looks like and what stereotype she maybe and loves her and respects her for her beliefs and who she is. every once in awhile, you DO come across an awesome guy like this. unfortunately, he's either taken, or gay. so ladies, if you find a single guy like this, claw into him and refuse to let go. ;)
    
    
19. I love to hangout with friends
    - Some people go out clubbing late at night with their friends. Me? I'd much rather sit in a mamak shop with my friends and just talk nonsense. Really. Call me boring, but that's the way i am. im not saying i dont like clubbing. hell no. the music calls me ;) but, its those moments where u just sit with friends and u can talk and talk and talk about everything in the world (without bitching) and NOT get bored. these are the friends u know will stick around.

20. I love the person i've become.
    - Here's what i think about me, in a nutshell. Because i've been through a lot in life, i think it's taught me to be a more mature person, AND a more understanding person. Because i can understand what a person feels when going through something, i am a good listener. Because i am a good listener, i am a good friend. Because i am a good friend, i have loads of friends that i love that love me back. And because i have these friends, i am happy and i love life.
    I think i'm pretty mature, but i know how to be childish and just have fun. and i have certain principles that i stand by. that pretty much moulds my personality, doesnt it. Life has give me oppotunities to do certain things, things which have made me who i am today. and if it werent for the people in my life, i wouldnt have most of these oppotunities.
    so i think that some of the credit for who i am today, goes to the people that have been around me. even the haters and the backstabing friends i've had. they gave me oppotunitites to be the better person and to let them just.. fuck off. so.
