She's sitting next to him
making that wish
that wish she makes every morning
for that one miracle to happen
when he tells her he loves her
but everyday goes by
and its the same old sad story ending
and it tears her
every second she sees him with that other girl
but she waits..

He watches her from across the room
as she's crying for that other guy
that guy that doesn't even see her
he wishes that same old thing he wishes every night
to be the one she looks at like that
but he can't even say two words to her
and it kills him inside everyday
cos he knows she'll never feel this way about him
but he waits
