I like weddings. Marriage not so much.

I have said plenty of times in recent months that I don't want to be married and that I will never get married or have kids. Of course we all know that I'm half-lying and that I will probably be one of the first of my friends to get married, but whatever. I actually want a wedding more than a marriage. I love weddings, they're so romantic. Feck it la ok! I am a romantic, I cannot help it. I wanted to be a wedding planner at one time. So. Anyway, this is just for fun. I am VERY bored. Like dead bored. I actually have a few important things to blog about thanks to important conversations I've been having with good and proper friends, but i'll save those for a day when I feel like blogging properly. So stay tuned. In the mean time, you can entertain yourself with this next piece of rubbish here. Lol

Ps. This started out as just a wubbish post answering wedding questions, but then Manda got all excited about it so I got excited about it and whatnot. So yeah. whatever.

A Future Wedding of mine

1. How old are you?
- The big two-oh this year! OMAGADDD!

2. Are you single?
- Does it really matter? Who says I'll be married to whoever I'm dating now anyway, IF I'm dating anyone :p Go figure.

3. At what age do you think you'll get married?
- Probably like 1834755757452, but you never know. Maybe 28. Or 30.

4. Do you think you'll marry the person you are with now?
- Who am I with now? Lol

5. If not, who do you want to marry?
- Johnny Depp. Maybe Chris Brown. Or Jason Derulo.

6. Who will be your bridesmaid & bestman?
- I want like a REAL bridal PARTY. Maid of honour will probably Sonia and bridesmaids will include Amanda, Kaminie and Nadine, Stephie (if she wants to be one) and maybe Jash or someone from whoever my potential husband will be's family. Best men will of course be someone whoever my potential husband will be chooses but I'd like Jeremy to be one of the best men, and Roshern if he can manage a smile on that day.

7. Do you want a garden/beach or traditional wedding?
- I'd like a beach wedding, like in Salaam Namaste, and after the wedding ceremony everyone gets into their bikinis and dance in the water. But it'd have to be a pretty kick ass gorgeous white, sandy beach. Otherwise I'll get married in a fancy, glorious church. My wedding will be fabulous. Don't doubt it bitch. IF I get married.

8. Where do you plan to go on honeymoon?
- Perhaps a week-long honeymoon. We'll go to Italy and France.

9. How many guests do you think you'll invite?
- Either a lot or very few. Which means it will either be very fancy and big, or small and intimate. My minimum number of people is like, 30 and my maximum is like 250.

10. Will that include your exes?
- If I'm still good friends with them then why not. Actually, maybe not. If my potential husband wants to invite an ex I'd have to put my foot down cos I don't think I'd like it or be comfortable with it. Unless there are absolutely no feelings there anymore. Oh well.

11. How many layers of cake do you want?
- I think, a four-tiered cake.

12. When do you want to get married, morning or evening?
- Late morning, then we can all rest in the evening before partying all night. That's another thing. I think my wedding reception will have to be in a private place because I want to be able to party for ages instead of having a curfew like hotels always have.

13. Name the song/tune you'd like to play at your wedding.
- I have a list. I'll post that later, if I feel like it.

14. Do you prefer fine dining or just normal spoon&fork?knife?
- Fine dining.

15. Champagne or red wine?
- Everything. Champagne for the toasts. Red and White wine for the softies who can't take the hard stuff. Whiskey, Vodka and Tequila for my people that I KNOW can drink (Yes, Manda that means you. Also, I'd quite like to think I'm doing my guests and bridal party a favour with all the alcohol, especially for the single people. I understand how single people feel at weddings. And you never know what romances could be sparked at my wedding hahaha)

16. Honeymoon right after the wedding or days after the wedding?
- A couple of days after. My wedding reception is going to be some massive partying so we'll definitely need a few days to recover.

17. Money or household items?
- BOTH.

18. How many kids would you like to have?
- What is this wubbish? We're talking about my wedding okay. Not this. Shoo!

19. Will you record your honeymoon in DVD/CD?
- Perhaps, but only for my husband and my eyes. Hello, you don't need to know what dirty deeds went down during our honeymoon ok.

I don't understand why there are no important questions about like the colour theme of my wedding and what my bridesmaid dresses will look like or my hen night. Why? Those are like some of the most important things! I will however, for the benefit of myself (so when and if I actually do get married I can remind myself of this and either be so proud at how good my taste is or be appalled at how young and naive I am.)

My wedding dress will be timeless and classic and elegant and just beautiful. Nothing poofy or layered. Ew. Perhaps strapless, or with a sweetheart neckline. Maybe empire waistline with a coloured bow or sash or whatever you call it to match my wedding theme colour. Empire waistline always makes my boobs look perky and nais. I will consider a veil. But it won't be a tacky 50-foot long veil. It will be short and sweet.

I love this dress. It's so pwetty. Of course, I'll have to lose like a ton of weight by the time my wedding day gets around, which I will. But a girl can dream okay. And even so, empire waistline works well on plus sized women. No hits at my size okay. If you try, you die. Anyway, I was just saying that I like the sleeves on this one.
I like the lace bits. It makes the gown look so soft and demure. And I think it's sexy. I wish the waistline was higher a bit though.
This I absolutely love love love. Even the colour is just so naice <3
I like the lace and the neckline on this one.

I decided a long time ago that my wedding theme would be purple. But I suddenly quite like the idea of maroon, like reddish maroon. It seems so elegant. But I also still love purple. So it will be either one. I suppose it will be the colour that all my bridemaids look good in. Hello, I want my bridal party to look gorgeous, but of course not steal my spotlight. I won't make my bridesmaids where the same dresses, that's just mean. I'll let them choose the designs they want but the colours have to match and be almost exactly if not exactly the same. Or if I'm feeling nice then similar shades of the same colour. The length, I am flexible about. But of course, being the bride, everything needs my approval. But I'm nice okay! I'm not going to make them all look exactly the same.

I don't like the idea of matching shoes though. But the colour is nice.
And I love this bright colour too. Sigh, why is purple so amazing.
This is sexy. I think my friend with the nicest boobs and the sexiest curves should wear this. Hehe.
I love this. They're all the same colour but different styles with similar lengths. This would be like my bridal party. Maybe not red. Maybe maroon, or purple.

Anyway. The wedding cake will probably 4-tiered and white but with simple decorations. Actually, I think it might just LOOK simple but be really difficult to make. But it will be delicious. I'm not sure what flavour yet. I'd love chocolate. But I mean hello, white dress. Unless I decide to do a wardrobe change, which I will. I think I might change twice. Cos I'm pretty sure I will be made to wear a saree at some point which I don't mind. I love sarees. And after I'll need to change into a dress that easier to dance in. Anyway.
I like them both. I think it's just the red. But this is too much. And so extravagant.
I love this. It's so classy. But I don't know if this would work with purple, maybe maroon would work.
I think I love this the most. It's so simple but not really. But I don't want the decor to be black, duh, it'll match my wedding theme and I love how there's interlinking-hearts instead of a bride and groom on top of the cake.

My wedding bouquet will either be white lillies and purple orchids or white orchids and red roses. It's really hard to decide when you don't know what your colour theme is! But yes, for my bouquet I'd like lillies and orchids. But I don't want a long flowing bouquet. Just a short one.
I lubbbbb this. It's so purpley and it makes me happy :)

And the wedding rings will be platinum with a couple of diamonds on each and perhaps with each other's names and our wedding date engraved in it. I'm not sure if I'd want us to write our own vows because well, wha tis he's just not good with words. If a guy wants to recite his own vows, I want him to be like a movie type guy who's just the right amount of romantic when reading his vows.

Okay, I'm done. Manda, faster read this!
